Help with old Harrington Signal fire box

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section, but hoping someone can help me out with this.

I recently got an old Harrington Signal fire box from a municipal system that was taken out of service a few years back. The box works – it activates when pulled, but the little bell in the bottom right corner does not sound.

Does anyone know how to get the bell to ring? I can’t seem to find any manuals or information for these boxes online.

the coil is most likely dead or the mechanism could be siezed up

What kind of box is it exactly? (especially since I’ve never heard of any kind of “fire box” that has an integrated bell, unless you’re talking about really old panels that had bells as their audible status indicators)

Is it a wind up pull box? It may need a separate power source to activate the bell. Pictures will help.
