Hey, I recently got a Honeywell 5828 Wireless keypad a few months ago. After programming it into my Vista system, my 6160RF emits an odd “ch ch ch ch” after every ding. It also beeps much slower. It has only done this after the 5828 was programmed in. If I un-program the RF house code the “ch ch ch ch” stops completely. It doesn’t really affect the system, but it is rather annoying. Any help is appreciated!

Is that your only wireless keypad/Device? If you have too many wireless devices it might be overwhelmed. Try rebooting the system. If it gets too annoying you could also disconnect the sounder in the 6160RF, that would silence it.??? I have no other idea of why It would do that. Hope that helps
Power cycling does nothing.
I have no idea of what to do, That is a strange problem. For a temporary solution you can unplug the speaker in your 6160.
