There are two types of FS-90 panels. If yours is intelligent and has an slc loop with addressable devices it will need to have chips programmed to configure the new devices. You may be able to program it from the panel toggle switches, but I think it will lose the new information on a power loss. The other type of panel is conventional with input and output cards and can be programmed with the just the toggle switches .
