Honeywell rebranded EST system

Does anybody know why or when Honeywell rebranded EST systems. I was recently at the Minneapolis, MN airport and noticed that they have a Honeywell rebranded EST 3 system. It uses Honeywell addressable devices and Wheelock S8 and EH70 speaker strobes. I also saw a Honeywell s464a near the parking garage. I have also seen videos on YouTube and found out that it uses the EST hi-lo tone followed by a custom message.

I also saw one of these but it had the Honeywell logo where the EST logo is on this one. (I forgot to take pictures while I was there)

It would have been prior to 1998, probably the mid 1990s. I have EST/Honeywell manuals dated 1998 and may be able to find some earlier corrrespondence.

Honeywell used Edwards equipment as an alternative to the FS-90 system. EST 3 has integrated audio capability whereas the FS-90 was used with Ducane audio components.

GE uses a lot of Edwards equipment as well, GE Fireworx Line.

Seems to be a thing in the 90s. Simplex in my area was known at that time as Tyco/Grinnell. My boss worked for them briefly before starting his own company. They had Mircom branded panels, the one I see in my area a lot is the Grinnell Series M-1000, which is basically a Mircom FA-1000.
