Honeywell SK 6700 module 98 error code

I have a SK 6700 panel. I am trying to update the firmware. I have a module 98 ckt error.
I can not connect my laptop with an error on the panel.
What is the 98 module and how do I clear it.

Module 98 is the address for the internal power supply. It sounds like you could have either an open or shorted NAC. Make sure both NACs have an end of line resistor and are not shorted. If that isn’t your issue, can you please provide an image of what the screen exactly says?

Thanks for the response. A quick back story, I am building a very basic fire alarm system display (mobile). It will consist of a SK 6700 with 6 detectors and 6 notifiers. This is not for fire personnel. It is for people who assess vulnerabilities and report types of detection and notification. And how to read a panel.

To test the panel I wired one SK Photo to SLC out and one wall strobe to nac2 with a 4.7 resistor. I followed the schematic on the panel. Panel in trouble, module 98_ CKT 1 open.
I tried to update the firmware and the program would not recognize the usb.

Does NAC 1 have a 4.7K resistor? If not, add one. That should fix the issue.

Thank you Logan,
I added the resistor to NAC1 and I am up and running.
Thank again

Ok. Next issue. I was updating the firmware. The laptop showed a connection and download ing. The panel was showing it was receiving.
It stopped around 70%. The panel message said restart application. When I tried restarting, it said no application found. It will not exit the menu. The only option I have on the menu is to restart application. But no application found.
