How am i supposed to remove this monitor module from the back of my BG-10

I want to get a conventional kidde fire alarm panel and adressable wont work for it
And i dont want a adressable because they are big and my room is small, and i dont know how to work bloody adressable panels yet

From what I can tell you’d have no choice but to cut the wires leading to the module (at the switch though, not the module).

Cut or desolder the yellow, violet wires and resistor off of the switch and attach your circuit wires and the Kidde EOL there.

Seems like the module is riveted onto the pull, and only way to get rid of it is through brute force

What about the other two wires?
They are also connected to the module

What kidde EOL are you talking about

Cut the yellow and purple wires at the module and strip them. You’ll have a pig tail nbg-10

chop it off with an axe.

Sounds simple enough lol
The red wire is cut
And the other is just fine
Also if i cut these in technicality
It will be conventional?

Cut the yellow and purple wire

Conventional fire panels using class B wiring supervise the circuits integrity with (EOL) end of line resistors. The Kidde panel I’m familiar with uses a 10K ohm resistor for the initiating circuits. The red and black wires on the module are for the SLC data circuit used on addressable systems to communicate with the fire panel.

The red and black wire connects from the module to the terminal block on that pull station.

And the terminal block is where the SLC data loop from the control panel is connected to.

Yeah I know about that

you can also tap the wires.
