How to build homemade panel?

You may not know me, but I’m a fire alarm know it all! I need help with homemade panels like what to get and how to program and build it. I have a small collection and security panels but nothing else! I do have a safe house panel and I wonder if I can use that? Thanks for viewing this and if anything, I’ll need tips on this stuff.

Building a FACP

Building a Micro-controller powerd FACP

Howdy, I know that mytechtime had a topic about building a FACP, but mine will be a different animal. I was wondering what I should try to incorporate. I want this system to be as legit as possible. Here is what I have so far: *10 zones *4 NACs *16x2 lcd *Codings’:Code 3, continuous, march time 90 and 120 *Trouble and alarm relay *Possible annunciator Please let me know what else I should try and add.

Residential Security System

Hey guys, my old FBII security panel crapped out on me recently. All the sensors are wired and I DO NOT want a wireless system! I put together some plans for a relay based simple security alarm panel. It includes a relay for each zone and then a latching relay for the actual alarm circuit (very simple).
