How to get First Alert smoke alarms to say please see manual?

Hi! I don’t know if any of you watch Photoelectric Elevators or know the Please See Manual meme, but I think its hilarious. I have some First Alert voice alarms that can say “Detector error in (location) please see manual” or “Highest carbon monoxide level was (1-999 PPM) please see manual” and have tried what Photoelectric Elevators did to get his to do that (Blowing steam into the alarm) but it didn’t work and I don’t want to risk ruining the alarm. And I also don’t want to expose myself to carbon monoxide, so if any of you know a safer way to trigger a please see manual message on a first alert voice alarm please let me know. Thanks!

No idea, but perhaps it’s about time someone took various manufacturers’ talking detectors & somehow tried extracting the sound files from them (at least if possible).

I think he used a humidifier to get it to say it, I saw someone spray a smoke test spray at it after they pushed the test button. you could use high carbon monoxide level but that’s not easy or a good idea to do.
