I noticed My MASS will make a Hissing sound when it does Lower Tones. It can be heard if You have Headphones on. I first discovered this several Months ago.
Why is it Hissing when it does Low Tones while I have Headphones on? Is it broken?

I’m not sure that I’ve heard a hiss on mine, but I also can’t say I’ve paid close attention to it. What power source/voltage are you hooking it up to?
A DC Power Supply on 24 Volts.
The strobe may make some noise while the capacitors charge and dissapate.
It’s not the Strobe because I don’t use the Strobe much and the Sound the Strobe makes isn’t the Sound I’m talking about.
So I set it off yesterday and I put it next to my Ear (With Headphones) and I listened to the Hissing sound and it appears that it’s the Sounder itself that is doing that. The Hissing would change pitches every 10 Seconds when I use the MASS on 800 hz Continuous. When I grip the Sounder Part, it stops. Perhaps the MASS is just showing it’s age?
