Identify a "Rare?" Alarm i found...

So i got an alarm off of ebay for like $12, but when i got it i was super suprised. It is a VIBRATORY horn with an edwards like integrity strobe on it. Ill post pics soon. It is not the pre integrity. i know that for sure. The horn is metal. The labels were too worn to read anything useful, but it is definitely an Edwards.

Did it look like this?

the horn has the same hexagon outline, but the strobe is definitely an Edwards. Heres some pics

You need to upload the image to a hosting site first. Unfortunately, you cannot link a file from your PC using the img tags. Here’s a guide: <URL url=" text=“viewtopic.php?f=63&t=7785”>

Alternatively, you could post the link to the eBay auction page.

Wont let me post. keeps saying HTTP error

It won’t let you post what? The image or the eBay URL link?

Post either the eBay item number or the direct link.

If you post the eBay item number, viewers just copy and paste the eBay item number into the eBay search.

Cant wait to see what you got.

Check out both my eBay stores too hehe

Im up for selling it too. just send me a PM if you want it!

I just need a small loan of a million dollars.

Yeah, that’s definitely a mod. It’s an Amseco motor horn with a strobe from an Integrity.

I have something similar. It’s a Wheelock strobe on a generic weatherproof backplate and box. I took it apart, and the strobe said “MT-24-LSM” inside.

Thats what i figured. there was no info on the listing AT ALL but it was cheap. its pretty cool though.

I wonder how they were able to modify it so it was like that? Is there a remote Integrity strobe that someone can by separate of the horn?

Yep. A lot like their Wheelock lookalikes, Integrity remote strobes are available in single-gang, 4-inch, and weatherproof versions.

So I wrote Edwards CS. And I’m pleasantly surprised they responded!

From what it looks like, someone went to a lot of trouble to modify that strobe to fit that horn.
