Identifying a panel

My old apartment had some sort of conventional panel, it was either Grinell or Gentex. Pulls were Grinell T-bars and alarms consisted of mostly Commander 1’s, but some were commander 3’s. Smoke alarms were BRK, which were connected to the fire alarms.

I’m not too familiar with what kind of panels Grinnell offered (besides the TFX-400, but that’s an addressable panel anyway), but I can tell you that it’s probably not Gentex since they don’t even make panels.

Are you sure the BRK’s were connected? That’s not a typical set up, but it sounds like a very old system so it’s definitely possible.

It was conventional, with about 20 zones.

They went off one time along with the detectors because somebody’s hot water heater overheated. I don’t know if the detectors were BRK or First Alert, however.

Can you get a picture of the panel?

I’ll see what I can.

Couldn’t find an image of the panel. Look up Moziac at Steele Park on Google.

I should also say that this apartment was right next to that VA hospital in Phoenix and also next to the park where that helicopter crash happened.
