If you have a Federal Pacific Electric panel, Zinsco, GTE-SYLVANIA, or Sylvania panel, please replace it immediately!
These panels are dangerous!

These are also very dangerous.

Aye – FPE and Zinsco both have track records of decidedly incendiary performance. (Note that the actual panel part of GTE-Sylvania-Challenger panels is generally mostly fine even if the breakers aren’t, which means that a simple breaker swap to Eaton BRs is enough to render those panels safe in many cases.)

I will be watching this thread as well to help with questions (this isn’t a new topic for me)
