I’m currently working on installing a security system at my grandparent’s house. It is a 2GIG gc2 system that I used to have at my house. It will only be a local alarm, but is much better than having nothing. There will be a smoke detector in the garage, in the living room, and in the basement. These are all areas of the house that previously did not have any fire protection. Upstairs, there will also be 3 door contacts and 2 glassbreaks, the main panel, and an additional touchscreen keypad in the master bedroom. Downstairs, there will be 3 glassbreaks and an ATW Terrier siren. If you have any tips, fell free to let me know. I will try to upload pictures of my progress as I can.
