Intelligent to Conventional?

I recently bought a Cerberus Pyrotronics MSI-20B, apparently not noticing the “I”. I was wondering if I could change it into a conventional pullstation? I have a soldering gun if needed.

It’s an intelligent device for an MXL panel, only way I can think of to make it conventional is to rip out the electronics and completely rewire something to the mechanical switch.

waiting for Andrew he could tell you how

Here’s some pictures, if that helps:

I believe those black wires, if unsoldered go into the switch. Not sure though

They do, I can see it. I’m probably going to go out and buy a screw terminal with two screws and just hot glue it to something and solder the wires to it. Also, will this work with Cerberus Pyrotronics alarms without a panel if I leave the addressable circuit in?

IF you use it just with the switch

His question was will it work with CP N/A’s with the addressable module still hooked up to the switch, so the answer to his question would be no.

I’m saying makenit conventional

I went ahead and soldered off the switch wires from the circuit board, leaving “pigtail wires”, and I now own a conventional Cerberus Pyrotronics pullstation! I’m assuming this would make it an MS-20?

Actually you know their is a way to solder the pigtails to the same screw terminals on the pull station. Thats what i’ve done to mine.

Can you tell me/show me? I’d much rather do that, for convienience sake.

I could explain over Skype, Find me @lilrags16

I could also talk over Skype as well if you haven’t talked to lilrags16 yet and show you how I have done it with my pull station. My Skype name: bryangalan20. Just PM me if anything.
