Next are all of my panels and unfinished projects:
Dang have you got quite a bit of rare stuff in addition to a nicely-sized collection in general, nice!
Awesome collection dude!!! I am now wanting to steal all of those!
That’s a very nice collection!
Update 4/10/25
Rather unexpected pickup but is always very welcomed! Got my hands on a 4 bay 4002 earlier today. Not sure why they needed this large of a cabinet for only 8 zones.
Sweet collection! Is the “Control Center” a Notifier or a 4221 part? Also, how did you get the LSN-2000 voice bay?
4221 part, and the bay also came from where I got my 4221 stuff, a ex technician who installed stuff himself in his own company and I suppose he did a couple FireCom panels back then. This particular one was NIB and he let it go for cheap.
Cool, glad to see more FireCom stuff falling into the hands of collectors.
Nice, at least a cabinet of that size allows plenty of room for expansion modules.
Beautiful collection! I’m quite fond of your assortment of smoke detectors; the two units in the middle of the top row are particularly neat finds.
The heat sensor head mounted on a sounder base in the bottom row also caught my eye. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that combination.
Cursed spectralert classics
Pretty big update incoming;
Recently i’ve started to make way for some bigger and better projects alongside shifting focus to more older conventional panels than addressable. Additionally I have been trying to downsize (I end up with the same amount I previously had lol) which some of you have probably seen come and go on my eBay. Well in return some of those funds have gone towards the acquisition of a 4208, alongside just barely finishing my 2001 project that’s been in the works for months.
I picked this up from my local tech from a recent building system overhaul in Chicago, and what’s cool about it being from Chicago is our fire code is a bit excessive. You can see by the extra amount of buttons present; every trouble lamp has a test button.
Now this project, I was lucky enough to score a cabinet in the beginning firing off months of searching for parts to follow. I secondly would acquire cards from a different place, and the dress panel for another. Recently I finally acquired the bays, harnesses and PSU to complete everything. I haven’t tested it quite yet as I still want to double and even triple check all the connections as these things are confusing as heck in which I learned quick lol. I’ll post an update following with some pictures of it in action!
Those panels are extremely difficult to obtain. Great job!
