Does anyone own a roomba, scooba, scoomba,looj, or any other iRobot device? I have a roomba.
I have a roomba. The thing is useless. it smashes into shit, gets stuck on cords, and sometimes does not want to go back to it’s base. I paid 400 for it, and I prefer that it just stays in the charger instead of scratching the side of my cabinets. I installed a foam padding on the side of it to help, sometimes I tell it to spot clean my office.
The commercial is beyond annoying also. It makes me want to by a Roomba just so I can smash it with a baseball bat everytime that stupid commercial plays…

We keep everything off our floor so it is not a problem for us, and ours is the original for 2002. Paid $100 for it, but one time a chocolate bar fell on the floor, it chewed up the wrapper, than dragged it across the house. Left marks everywhere. Other than that it works for me

So you do not own furniture, have baseboard molding, or anything else that it can bump into???
It bumps into the wall, but leaves no mark and it just goes under the furniture. When it bumps into the legs it just turns and moves on, no dents or anything
We’ve had a roomba (One of the originals) for so many years now. It recently died and plan on replacing it. Even though it may be annoying at sometimes, endurance wise it is definitely worth the value.
They can be annoying, but worth it
