So Kidde has finally spoke out about the mispronunciation of their name. I was scrolling through Instagram and stumbled across this video.

I’ll have to say, Kidde took a comedic approach to it.

Still doesn’t make me want to buy their products though, heh (maybe if they moved production to say Mexico (like BRK/First Alert is doing already) & actually bothered investing enough R&D into their products to make them a lot more robust & reliable I would however, heh).

I used to think Kidde was pronounced like “kiddie”, but it is “kidda”.
