I noticed at my school that all of the fire alarm system components have this label on them with a barcode – NAs, pull stations, everything. What could those potentially be used for?
Those barcodes are used together with an app called “ScanSeries”, apparently so technicians can keep track of all the devices in every building they service.
There’s also a company called building reports that does that too
It seems they’re the company behind the ScanSeries app.
Those are likely Building Reports Barcodes.
