Not often in my area does fire alarm equipment come up for sale on marketplace, but when it has it’s been more than worth my time. I came across a listing that had some really desirable devices for dirt cheap, only caveat was that I had to drive two hours in the snow, but I think it was more than worth my time. Came with a bunch of other newer electronic horns that I don’t think are worthy of showing. Unfortunately not all of these devices are fully working.
1x Simplex 2901-9838 on Simplex 2903-9001. You can never go wrong with a Simplex 2903 light plate. Unfortunately my dumbass immediately broke one of the tabs off the “FIRE” lens. I should’ve learned my lesson, now I will never attempt to remove the “FIRE” lens again. This one works.
1x Simplex 2901-9833 on Simplex 2903-9001. This is the first 2903 light plate that I’ve received with the “FIRE” lens installed upside down, and it’ll stay that way so I don’t break it. This one works.
1x Simplex 2901-9833 working.
1x Faraday 6120 on SAE A32 White Strobe. Unfortunately the strobe doesn’t work.
1x Ademco 7002-12 working.
1x Wheelock 7001-24 working.
1x Wheelock F34-24 WS-24VDC. The find of the haul is what appears to be a four wire 7001-24, didn’t know this existed, no idea how rare it is. Working.
As always I’m on the lookout for old devices or marketplace, and my have something else in the works soon.
