Looking for help to fix card 1, nac/relay card nacs 3&4 class a trouble

While working on my Simplex 4010, I was trying to get Nac three and four to work. I tried to mess with Sig A and B options and tried to change it to sig A and it said SMPL file may have been deleted check previous page so I go to exit and I stupidly clicked save config and now there’s a trouble on Nac 3 and 4 and I don’t understand why.

Thank you in advance!

could you send a picture of the entire SFIO board just head on?

Looks like you have an expansion power supply, is it connected and powered?

Blockquote

Its connected and powered.

Looks like it may be searching for a class A adapter card on NACs 3 and 4. I assume there’s an option to turn that off in programming. Worst case, you can just factory default the panel and then auto-configure for the expansion power supply.

I’m a bit apprehensive about factory resetting the panel since I’ve never done it before and I’m concerned that it might worsen the situation. Would it cause more troubles?

Not sure how to turn off searching for a class a adapter.

Looks like it should be in Programming. Try this…

  • Enter Programming
  • Edit Point
  • Go to NACs
  • Select NAC 3 (then repeat below for 4)
  • Edit Device Type
  • There should be an option for Class B, SIGB/NACB or something like that.
  • Save Config and restart.

Give this a try and see.

Manual isn’t too specific, but it might help to look through this if you’re stuck.
