Hello all,
I recently got a NFW-100X running V1.02.008 and it won’t upgrade to V2.00.011 or V2.01.002, and I think the reason why is because the original firmware is so old that the version jump is too far.
With that being said, does anyone have Fire-Lite Endurance Series or Notifier FireWarden-X Series firmware that’s between version 1.03 and before 2.0? If anybody has firmware, please send it to me. I’d really appreciate it, thank you.
I had a similar issue with the Fire-Lite Es-50X (NFW-50x), it would start a firmware update then promptly restart and not update. It turns out the issue was the communicator board was not plugged in properly. So just make sure everything is connected right and maybe try the new firmware again.
Interesting. So should I just reseat the connector? Or, do you know if the panel will update if the communicator is completely disconnected?
When I tried it, the communicator was completely disconnected and it did not work untill I plugged it in. So I guess just try reseating both ends of the connector and see if that does anything.
Thank you for the tip. I reseated the communicator connectors but the update still failed after “running” for 30 minutes. I think my panel might just be busted or too old.
