Where was it removed? An old middle school, same one as the 4903-9101/4903-9106+2901-9838s, 4903-9106s+2901-9846/4901-9817, 4904-9112+4901-9805 & the identical 4903-9220.

Difference between 4903-9220 & 4903-9218: The 4903-9220 has a 15CD strobe while the 4903-9218 has a brighter 110CD strobe. Other than that they’re exactly the same. Both of them mount vertically & have electromechanical horns.

Older vs Newer Simplex 4903-9219 Horn/Strobes Used

Older 4903-9219 has a Date Code of LO, manufactured in 1994 & the FIRE lettering has faded, and has some paint.
Newer 4903-9219 has a Date Code of 4996W, clearly stating it was made 49th week of 1996 & is in better cosmetic condition. This 9219 sounds significantly better than my other 9219 but neither one of them has a green asterisk. The font & the horns are different. This 9219 has Helvetica text & has a sticker on the horn. The other one is different.

Older vs Newer Simplex 4903-9217 Horn/Strobes Used

Newer 4903-9217 has a Date Code of 3597W, giving a more exact date code. The horn sounds smooth. This 9217 has an orange triangle on the strobe reflector.
Older 4903-9217 has a Date Code of GPW, but was actually manufactured in 1995, not 1994. It does not specify an exact date code. The horn sounds a little funky & has no orange Triangle. The font on the model number sticker is also different as it is the older font & older style horn with the plastic as opposed to the sticker for your wiring manual like the newer 9217.
