Mini Sirens

Anyone interested in Mini sirens? I found of this hobby several months ago and have already built my first one. Originally it was supposed to be a 3t22 with dampers, but the motor was not strong enough to pull both rotors, even with hours of sanding and capacitors. I ended up only using one rotor to make a STH-10 siren.

It makes about 108 dB @ 10ft.

I’m currently in the process of building a 1/2 scale ACA Hurricane, which should be about 100 dB @ 100ft.

Yes! I like sirenns!

Yeah, I’d say outdoor warning sirens are neat. How did you build that one though: it almost looks like some sort of kit.

It does look like a kit. Maybe? I don’t know.

100db at 100 ft? That’s about the loudness of a Model 2!

Really? Well that’s cool. What spins the chopper rotor though?

That would be perfect for me. I have a Samsung microwave that seems to be in the process of dying (unsurprisingly).
