Hello,

So I just got my fire panel and ever since I first plugged it in it has had a buzzing sound, this panel has a power supply and it only happens if the panel is plugged into an outlet, so if its running on a battery this sound won’t happen, it also gets worse when in the panel goes into alarm, see YouTube vids below to hear the noise.

ALSO THIS NOISE WILL SOMETIMES GO AWAY FOR 10 MINUTES THEN RETURN

Sounds like your panel’s power supply is bad. The MS-10UD uses an FLPS-7 power supply. You might want to get that fixed/replaced because a normal one should be mostly silent at all times.

If you can, check the voltage coming out of it. The panel might be fine and might just have a noisy transformer. If you are ok with the noise, it’s probably fine.

Ok I’ll have to do that, is there a certain voltage needing to come out?

You should see around 24v. Coming out. It doesn’t need to be exact.
