Hi everyone! I’m having a problem with my Firelite MS-5012, the reset button stopped working for some reason. I was preparing my next system test for my YouTube channel then I pressed the reset button and nothing happened. Plz help me with this problem, I spent an arm and a leg for this panel, Thank you!
Did you try pressing the reset button harder? It may sound stupid, but membrane buttons often like to crap out. I have an MS-5024 (which is the 24V version of your panel) and I have to press my silence button extra hard for it to work lol
If that doesn’t work, check the ribbon cable/connector that connects the keypad to the motherboard. It may need to be re-seated, or there could be a tear in the cable.
I’m also curious, how much did you pay for your panel?

60-70$ to be fair the seller did mention that the silence button may not work but it works fine. I guess that’s why I got it for a low price lmao.
LETTS GO!!! It worked! I unplugged the ribbon connector and re plugged it back! Thank you, you saved my wallet and my panel!

Nice price, what a steal! The silence buttons on those panels usually wear out in the middle, so I press on the left or right side of the button. I’m glad I could help you fix it!
