My FireMaster Sentry SY-0216 Fire Extinguisher from 1988

My newly acquired FireMaster Sentry SY-0216 Fire Extinguisher from May of 1988, according to the inspection tag.

Little sister somehow spotted this in the garage of my grandparent’s house. It was empty when I looked at the gauge. Likely leaked over the 34 years its been sitting. As it’s pin seal is still in place.

The nozzle is missing, not sure if that broke off when moving it, or if its always been like that. Probable’s always been like that, as I couldn’t find the nozzle in the bag. (I transported this thing in a bag since it was so dusty and grimy.)

The clamp still has a pretty strong spring, too.

I Plan on starting a collection of old fire extinguishers
In Cortex Colorado there is a antique shop with a extinguishers from the 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s, and the 30s
They have insanely old fire extinguishers

Hi! I also collect fire extinguishers. My sister helps me spot them out too!
(although she has sprayed me with one before). I love Firemasters and I might be getting a halon 1211 Firemaster soon​:fire_extinguisher::grin:
