Hey guys. I wanted to tell you something you probably didn’t know. I own a school bus. Albeit not a very big one. It’s a 1971 Chevy C40 with a 292 Inline 6 and a Carpenter Body Works School bus body on it that I got for free a couple years ago. it’s not running but I have the new distributor for it. I have some pictures that i’ll put below.
Nice. Planning on fixing it up & restoring it to its original beauty, including maybe giving it a fresh coat of School Bus Yellow paint?
well, I do kinda like the patina it has but I do plan on restoring most of it.
Ah okay. Best of luck: sure hope it ends up turning out to be excellent once restored!
thanks. I hope so too.
I really wanna restore that triangular stop sign. I’ve never seen one like it.
You should also try turning it in to an RV.
I say leave it as a school bus, as it seems like far too many are not kept as such (which to me at least kind of “devalues” the vehicle in a way, since it’s not the same as it was built).
Sadly there aren’t any seats in it. And I did already have plans to make it an RV. But I’m gonna leave the outside untouched.
Also is it just me or does an inline 6 sound too small for a school bus
