New Acquisition! Family Gard FG777C. This unit is based on the BRK 79R and was the successor to the FG777, This specific unit is from 1983.
Nice! You sure got the FG777’s successor quickly after first getting the former!
I find it interesting that the model number of the horn is molded into the outside of the housing for it, & that it’s not the exact same model that most BRK/First Alert/Family Gard detectors use (which is supposedly the “H58-92-XX”).

New Acquisition! This is the Smoke Gard 700A one of the most important smoke alarms made, as it was one of the first widely sold and distributed Ionization smoke alarms made. This one specifically is very late being made in 76.

New Acquisition! This is the Wake N Warn 05-51-03, This unit is based on the BRK 83R, with this one specifically being manufactured in 1988.
New Acquisition! This is the Montgomery Ward 61551 and is based on the BRK 83R. This one specifically is from 1984.
New Acquisition! Sears 350.57045. This was one of sears’s many models with this one specifically being based on the Fyernetics F900D platform. This one in particular was manufactured in 77.
I always liked mechanical horns, nice acquisitions!

Only the FG777 does: the FG777C & FG888C have electronic horns.

New Acquisition! BRK 1839ACI from 1986. This was BRK’s last model to use a mechanical horn, and was released around Circa 1985 succeeding the BRK 1769ACI.
New Acquisition! Sears 439.57303 from 1979. This was another one of sears’s countless models, with this one specifically being Pyrotronics Guardion FB-1A based. These units were produced in various different configurations such as the 439.57002 & 439.57003.
New Acquisition! Westclox POC-76B from 1978. This was one of if not the most popular Westclox model, and was surprisingly sold in the US despite Westclox being a Canadian brand.
New Acquisition! Sears 246.57311 from 1981. This is yet again one of sears many models. This one however is particularly interesting as it is BRK 3000 based meaning it has dual Ionization and Photoelectric sensors.
New Acquisition! Probe 105 from Circa 1985. This is literally just a probe 101 with an added silencer feature. Still really cool!
New Acquisition! FireX FXW-1A from 1988. This is the successor to the FXW-1 “AKA my holy grail” even though the FXW-1 and FXW-1A were made at the same time

Ah yes: NLind has one of those, & someone found the First Alert version (the SA300) in a house just the other day.
I have one of those myself, though it sadly doesn’t work (mine also doesn’t have the mounting bracket either (how many of these detectors you’ve recently gotten don’t have a bracket, might I ask?).
What? That’s odd…any clue of the difference between those two models?
