My Sister is going to College and found some Rare Alarms.
What kind are they? The only one I can recognize is the 276. She also said they sounded like an Adaptahorn or a 4040.
Those are amseco motor horns with conventional Edwards pulls and conventional Cerberus pyrotronics smoke detectors and the strobes appear to be Wheelock wst-24
Thanks! Are they Rare?
In order:
Wheelock WST-24 (could also be a Pyrotronics or Honeywell rebranded model) remote strobe
Amseco BZ-54/BZ-54VL/BZ-54VT motor horn
Edwards GS (General Signal) 276-series manual pull station
Cerberus Pyrotronics/Pyrotronics DI-3 conventional ionization smoke detector
Quite a unique system there for sure, with all its different brands & models!
Most of those are, yeah.
Typical 80’s conventional system
My Stop and Shop (built in 1998) actually has a 276B located near the dairy department stockroom that was blocked by a clearance shelf for years! The logo was so faded, I could barely make out the old Edwards GS logo!
They also Have Simplex TrueAlerts on Continuous.
