That info is in line with what I’ve just been told by someone else. I’ve been told EPEL was a guy who left the fire alarm technical industry to start his own company making custom graphics for F.A. systems. Each one was custom designed & hand-made for a particular install. I guess that’s why this building kept it in place when they upgraded to a 4100u FACP. It’s a nice graphic & audio control unit except for one thing: there is no audible alert when someone picks up a remote firephone. An LED blinks, but no buzzer or anything. During the annual inspection, my partner would call me on the radio to pick up the bloody handset because I was looking @ something & didn’t see the LED blinking.
