Blue lensed Exceder alert strobe rebranded by Eaton?
Yes, but do you know the model?
LSTW3-ALB? ( had to do a quick search and I think this is it)
Gamewell FCI 7200
now gimme my chips ahoy
Just a guess with no searching the web i believe to be annunciator for a McCulloh system
some faraday thing idk
Legrand Wattstopper.
UPDATE: This actually turned out to be a conventional ceiling mount Autocall TrueAlert speaker strobe connected to an Autocall 4100es
That means it’s an Autocall 4906-9160
The strobe looks like either gamewell or FCI rebranded from Wheelock, and the speaker is either simplex or atlas sound.
aight cuz it looks GOOFY
Notifier NFS2-3030, with firefighter’s telephone (and probably also voice-evacuation, given the size of that system.)
You are correct it has Warden/Firefighter phones. Do you know if speakers and strobes are addressable in these systems ? A tech told me no and I was lost at how he would find a trouble if not.
No, the signals are not addressable in any capacity. Finding a trouble on the speaker or strobe circuits must be done the old-fashioned way.
wow. So setting off the alarm to see which strobes and speakers work ? Any other way ?
Operational testing is generally done by sounding the alarm.
The speakers can be tested in a less annoying way by playing music into the paging microphone, but don’t do that if the building is open to the public, as it could constitute copyright infringement.
If there is a trouble on the circuit itself it likely means that the wiring is damaged somewhere. A voltmeter is used to troubleshoot such a problem.
Interesting. Can probably use maybe the alert tone in the building vs the evac tone ? On the circuit itself is likely because it is saying nearly across the board 7th floor speaker, 7th floor strobe etc. Is the circuit a loop ? I see a list of Modules which lists devices then I am seeing detectors then I see Nodes. What is a Node vs a loop ?
