Can a Cisco SIP device provide dial tone for a FACP , if not can anyone point me to the NFPA code that cite it, thanks.
if your Cisco ATA is registered, it should provide dial tone and that would not be in NFPA code. As far as I’m aware you cannot use an ATA for fire panel monitoring in a professional environment.
Correct - Cannot do VOIP per NFPA. Consider a cellular or radio frequency. (Assuming this panel is a real system). POTS lines should be avoided due to unmaintained infrastructure.
