I finally got My Childhood Alarm! It’s been over 5 Years since I’ve last heard one. And the last time I head one was back when I hated Fire Alarms.

My school had the red/white version, this is white/red. I HATED these, they were way too loud for the application they were used for. the ones at my middle school looked like large white pucks and you could barely hear them over all the kids talking in the hallways.
My high school has 4001 units and a few Truealert in the 3rd floor. and simplex clocks?

Well, they are supposed to be loud 
The red version of this on continuous, Wheelock NS on continuous, and Simplex 2901-9838 horn + 4903-9105 strobe plate on continuous are my childhood alarms. My daycare/preschool had the NS and TrueAlert, my elementary school had the Simplex horn and strobe plate combo and TrueAlert, and my middle school had TrueAlert horn/strobes on the outside with speaker/strobes on the inside. It’s now been two years since I’ve heard a horn/strobe, as my high school has a Siemens voice evac system with all speaker/strobes.
