I just purchased a new Simplex 2001 fire alarm panel and I would like assistance setting it up.
Panel is new in the box, it is one of the smaller panels, 1 bay with 8 card slots. The panel arrived with the following cards in the following order from left to right: Fire/Trouble Control, Dual Zone Card, Dual Zone Card, City Tie/Drill, Three Blank Cards, and then a Dual Signal Circuit/2 Fuse Card.
I purchased a march time card, Part No. 556-249.
3 Simplex B Keys were included, two look identical, the third, which was taped to the back of the panel, is still a B key but looks a little different.
Some black cables were included, which I assume to be extra jumpers.
Can anyone walk me through carefully installing the march time card and setting up the system? I ordered a conventional Simplex pull station and I already have a 2903 light plate and horn to add as the signal.
Documentation was included but I do not understand any of it. Thanks in advance!

I can’t help with the installation of the march time card but I can speak for the rest of us that we would love it if you could get a digital scan of the documentation that came with it. I have 3 2001s myself and havent fully set any of them up. If you have discord, I could attempt to walk you through it.

I believe you may be able to upload the pdf here directly. If not you could drop it on google drive and theres many folks who would then be happy to upload it to TFPs document repository.
As for discord, it’s an instant messaging app but I can use any sort of IM app for it, including messenger, telegram, whatever suites you.
