Anyone seen or heard of these before?
That is System Sensor’s lineup for Asia. There might be some in the US, but i’m not too sure.
That’s the System Sensor Global AV SYS-HS. I believe they have existed for a while, they are manufactured by System Sensor’s Chinese division, and are offered in the Asian and Latin American markets. In terms of the device itself, I believe it’s like a horn/strobe version of the MHR minihorn, and I’m not sure if the strobe is ADA-compliant.
Here’s one sounding outside a school somewhere. According to an FB post, these were supposed to be the successor to the Advance but evidently SS didn’t like the design to the created the L series. According to data sheets on SS’ Chinese site they do have UL and ADA compliance.
