New Ultra series from Silent Knight

It looks like there is also a Fike version.

According to this page, the 6808U will be compatible with both IDP and SK protocols (but it doesn’t mention the SS series). The 6820U and 6820UEVS will only be SK protocol (and SD).

Despite the double support for SK and IDP protocols, it seems that there will still be a separate IFP-300U and IFP-300UECS. The IFP-1100U will presumably be replacing the IFP-2100 and have a smaller device capacity.

Oh? Interesting…I just hope Honeywell actually gives enough of a crap about quality control this time for them to not just be the 6000-series all over again in that particular aspect!

According to the Reddit post, the 6820UEVS will have similar voice evac programming to the DVC, so that might be an improvement.

On the other hand, the fact that they will be replacing the IFP-2100 with an 1100 point panel does not seem great. For some reason, it looks like the 2032 point limit for SD protocol on the IFP-1100U is the same as the IFP-2100, but I’m not sure why they would want to encourage people to use the Hochiki protocol, since the Hochiki devices were discontinued several years ago.

Here are some datasheets. They don’t mention anything about SS-Series detectors, but I assume those will be compatible.
