We’re programming NFS2-640 panel for IG Clean Agent System and found FCM-1 Module (Module Add. 33 - Discharge Horn/Strobe - picture) controlling horn / strobe light, with Type Code “Control” - CBE “ZR” Releasing Zone to activate immediately with 2nd Fire Alarm (02 Heat Detectors), instead of delay (30s, 60s… as setting for ZR)
Please advise if any wrong with programming or CPU problem (data V. 27)
hi for release zones there are special type codes for control modules/ NACs, check the programming manual is all there

Actually, we did some tests with changing Type Code as below:
-Test No. 2: to replace “Control” Type Code of Discharge Horn / Strobe into “Rel Audible”, it works correctly with 30s delay as required, but Discharge Pressure Swith can’t activate it due to “Rel Audible” not allow to add ZL or Z for CBE.
-Test No. 3: to replace ZR logic into ZL with delay 30s, Discharge Horn / Strobe activated with 30s delay - and also work with Discharge Pressure Swith as required, but it takes too long time (about 46s or more) to reset all Horn / Strobes, system…, instead of 10 - 15s like Test No. 1 and No. 2

i always put Pressure Sw to supervisory not to trigger horns,

Pressure Switch should trigger horn / strobe, because with activation of Mechanical Manual Release on Clean Agent Cylinders, system should evacuate people to go out the room.
So if adding ZR8 to device 85 - Pressure Switch - “Track Superv” Type Code, does it active horn / strobe? and how about solenoid (requirements not active solenoid)?
in the case of using mechanical activation should use a second release zone for the pressure switch, like ZR9 with no delay and no cross zone, and put the module as Monitor type code, then just add ZR9 to module 33
Hic! unfortunately there’re more than 10 Clean Agent Systems here! so all 10 Release Zones of panel used!
