One device you really want but can’t get

Is that bg-12 and that siga 278 addressable

no I wish they were though

Here’s another one for the topic: The DEF Polaris C2/6/10, aka SEFI/ASD Alpha C/S 2-6-10

This one is a bit of a special case as I had one before, but I no longer have it, this panel has a special place in my heart as it was the first FACP I ever got in my collection, that particular unit I had was a newer (~2014) DEF Polaris C2 (2-zone, with fire door actuator relays) that I got rid of years ago following an unfortunate mishap that lead to both its zones getting fried. (in hindsight, I could’ve found a zone expansion card, but I never could locate one at the time)

I had a lead on a fairly recent model that was fully kitted out (with two zone expander cards), but so far I never got anything out of this :man_shrugging:

Another device that I’d love to have, it would be the Honeywell SC806E1013, although I’m not sure if it still counts in this topic’s scope, as I’ve managed to locate one for sale (and subsequently bought) and now it’s coming up in the mail… This one I can’t seem to recall where I heard about it for the first time (I belive it may have been in one of Destin’s videos, I’m not sure), but one thing is sure, of all fire alarm notifications appliances, chimes are one of my favorites. And the SC806E1013 even more so.

@pilot Alrighty, I’ll send you a PM, sorry for not getting back to you earlier, that completely slipped out of my mind  (I’m pretty sure I had my town’s zip code written on my profile, I guess it wasn’t the case).

I really want a Kidde FX-64RD
Control panel

I also really wish to have any simplex 2099 device, besides they are my second favorite fire alarm activation device

Why can’t you get a 2099 t-bar

i want a simplex 2001 but cant afford one and is very difficult to wire

I just don’t have one and any of the ones I find online are way more expensive than they should be

Here’s a cheap 2099 for sale https://www.ebay.com/itm/314498560621?hash=item493993326d:g:s2UAAOSw5M9kKbT1&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8HiknpMBXTiI%2BY3kij4MonDPen3o%2BDtxkrjfNZ5qSgQ0f5Gtjfo8svZzVC%2BnpUUZipoepus2hXud0WpJ4PoN%2ByfCc0nWeDV9sIXws1JkeEoPwMqyTG30yv41xhH56By%2Fr3XVxljwMU%2B%2B%2BBZpkmNAEcMMgltpsiLYKaP0beFlRdgo%2F5DwFIAVAvvqpXbmfBlbYo%2Bnb2JjFyG8QBjDarXcryTdtQSsk9WLw0P9Az7qfcAHSzIw1d8FYzV8aVjgLWYWzL9vQ4odcXsIiscyUrr8N%2Fa%2FEgNtEtrLYvtnJSLVdiZxBvtQzNgnFYjP08jJoG0lHg%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBM3LTp0vRh

You’ll need to remove the module on the back

A fire alarm. That’s all.

I have a 2099 and I haven’t removed the module

That’s the only way you can put it on a conventional panel

Yeah I know. But I don’t have a panel

Why can’t you get a fire alarm?

I REALLY want a Simplex 2120.

Good luck!! Those things are virtually extinct

Not enough cash for one. Also, parents think it’s dumb.

Start saving up. Even if your parents think it’s dumb, it shouldn’t matter if you use your own money.

Yep: every time I buy something off of Ebay my dad just thinks I’m wasting my money no matter how many times I try & explain to him that it’s my money & thus I can spend it on what I want (as well as that it’s not a waste of money to me).
