I am trying to figure out any information I can about the attached pull station. I’ve tried doing things such as putting the image through Google Image Search, with no success. I’ve seen a lot of similar ones. A photo on Flickr labeled it as a BNG-1R, but it isn’t that, as I have found when searching that came up with a completely different pull station.
Ultimately I’m trying to figure out not only what it’s model is, but then information such as when it was likely manufactured, discontinued (if applicable), etc.
That is an older/“1st-generation” Notifier BNG-1R. The BNG-1 is its silver-colored counterpart. Not sure when this generation was made, but my guess is sometime in the 70s & maybe also before &/or after then (60s & 80s). Weirdly enough Notifier still makes a pull station called the “BNG-1R” today, but the design is different (no idea why they didn’t change the model to “NBG-8” to match with its Fire-Lite counterpart (BG-8) & their other pull station models (NBG-10 & NBG-12) & of course to also differentiate it from the original to be honest).
