Hi first post on this site so go easy on me I removed mains and battery from protec 6300 panel and you know what happed next yes now showing power supply fault! The problems i have is 1, protec no longer supply PSUs for this model problem. 2 i dont know if psu is faulty or its just that it needs programming to say it had a built in PSU. Protec want to charge £400 to attend site then £50 per half hour. So it could cost me £450 just for them to say yes PSU is F@@@@ and will not supply replacment PSU. I understand the situation about engineer codes But Help! any sugestions appreciated Thanks

According to this page Protec no longer makes that particular model, so you’re probably just better off replacing it completely.

hi, the charger is programmed with the software, most probably the charger is faulty, but yes, if you do not have either the software and the access codes you probably ended up upgrading the panel and calling protec to set things up again
