I know that the Fire Alarm, siren, and railroad hobbies overlap a lot, so I was wondering if there could be a smaller railroad category. I understand about the General Discussion category, but I thought it would be nice to have.

There are several Reddit communities dedicated to the railroad hobby. This website is strictly for fire alarms/fire departments and life safety.

I’m gonna probably agree that railroad maybe doesn’t belong here explicitly, but I also acknowledge that there are many life safety enthusiasts who are also into railroad stuff. Will discuss with the mods on how to handle it.
