Well yeah, but it was still reused when the EST3 replaced the IRC-3, & it probably could have kept on being reused since the likely majority of the building is the hotel portion.

What? The only original WTC buildings we’ve heard the alarm system sounding in are WTC 1, WTC 2, & WTC 7.

Oh, huh. That does sound like the older EST2/EST3 whoop (though I’ve been told it debuted on the IRC-3 & has been reused on subsequent voice-capable Edwards panels), & I think I’ve seen people say that WTC3, which was a Marriott hotel, did have an EST system at the time.

I’ve never heard that message before. But when I saw the TikTok video of it, I realized it was heard at an arcade with Edwards/EST Genesis speaker/strobes with the EST2 slow whoop. And, I wanted to say that and it’s not because Edwards & EST share the same name. But, thanks for the footage though.
#1: That’s actually a casino, not an arcade.
#2: That system being fully Edwards/EST is obvious from both the tone & message & the devices seen.
Do you also hear an EST2 Whoop in the background?
Yes: no idea why it sounds continuously even when the message is playing, as that just distracts from the message & makes it hard to hear.
