I’d advise getting it if you can both for posterity/completeness’ sake & so you can properly power it if you ever choose to. Is it supposed to have a bracket as well? (provided you don’t have it already)

I certainly hope to try and get it! And, I don’t have the bracket. It was not in the house, so I assume it’s gone now sadly as I got the detector after it had been removed for quite a few years.

Oh? You oughta get that one too if you can given how rare the GX-100-series is (especially with a new detector having taken over its duties thus leaving the GX-100 open for retirement if you know what I mean, which it certainly deserves after several decades on the job!).

I’m gonna try! And decades is right. Both detectors are around 42 years old. Mine is dated October 1st, 1982!
