At that point BRK owned system sensor, it wasn’t until the 2400 and 1400 that system sensor was acquired by Honeywell. Simplex was also at the time rebranding tons of different detectors from many different manufacturers.
I have 3 BRK electronics hardwire smoke detectors. They were still in service until yesterday. They were original to the house! 2 of them was dated 1/27/2004 and 1 was dated 1/12/2004. We finally replaced them. Yes, they still work!
I have a new one of those BRK 1851 detectors but its a Honeywell version, model TC805A-1004.
What did you do with them? (preserve them I hope)
Oh? Interesting…
I did, all three of them are in my room!
Three BRK 4120Bs eh? (a personal favorite model of mine, mainly due to the design)
Yeah. The battery drawers on two dont hold anymore.
Detection Systems DS200HD4W. Got this NIB.
Chloride Pyrotector 3040S6†. Runs on 6VDC and makes a satisfying click when it goes into alarm.
†: Not 100% sure if this is the right model. From research of other models it seems correct.
Fantastic detectors, especially that quite rare (& for sure cool) DS200HD4W!
Ademco 822PP3T (Runs on 12VDC and I’m pretty sure it’s a Pyrotector Phoenix rebrand)
Gamewell D9 heat detector (NIB)
