Hello, I’ve got my Simplex 4017.62 bell, and will try to attach pics.
It also has an Auth part #, 1742-4-6
I have now added a picture of the Auth part
I also found what that odd attachment was on the mechanism leads, it attached to the terminal board above the screw terminals, and it plugged into the spring clips to give incoming power to the bell mechanism.
I’ve no idea how to reattach that, but ill definitely keep them.

Hello, for Simplex 4017 bells is “3” the code for a 10" bell?
I’m wanting to find a list of the codes for the 4017 Type bells that would show the bell size, and codes for them, please.
At one time, i saw a 10 inch 4017 Simplex bell that ran on 1 volt AC.
I’m hoping the forum members might know or can point me to someone with that information.
