Sensiscan-1000 to ES-200X Upgrade Help

I am posting in hopes of getting some clarity regarding a panel upgrade that I am doing.

The existing panel is a Sensiscan-1000 and I am planning on putting in an ES-200X panel.

I have attached a picture of the existing panel and included a link below to a quick video showing the components of the panel:

It is my understanding that I will need the following to successfully upgrade the panel:

  • 2 - MMF-302-6
  • 2 - MMF-302
  • 1 - Power Booster (unsure of part number)

Can anyone please provide guidance as to the components necessary to make this upgrade? Thank you for all of your assistance with this matter!

I’m pretty sure I can’t assist with what you’re directly asking about, but as an enthusiast please make sure that that Sensiscan is removed completely intact (including the cabinet) & gets a good owner who will take care of it.

Here’s my 2 cents as a hobbyist:

  • The MMF modules you listed should be enough to cover what the Sensiscan panel had (14 zones).
  • As for the power booster, I’d assume it’d be an FCPS or HPF series. Those both provide extra signal circuits and auxiliary power.
  • Personally, I’d say the power booster may not be necessary, unless you have a lot of signals. The ES-200X has 4 signal circuits (2.5 amps max each) and 2 auxiliary power taps (1.0 amp each). Both of those should be enough to cover the old signals and the MMF modules.

Otherwise, I think you’re in good shape! Of course, I’d still recommend you consult a Fire-Lite representative and any other authorities to make sure everything’s properly listed and up to code. Hope this helps!

P.S. If you can salvage that Sensiscan, you can sell it for a pretty penny.
