Sooo…. I was trying to silence the troubles on my Firelite Ms-5012 but the silence button wasn’t working, I tried one of loganetics’ tips like last time but this time it was unsuccessful. Please help, thank you!
I’m not sure what material the pins are made of, so check them for corrosion or rust. I would also recommend checking the keypad’s ribbon cable for any rips/tears or breaks. Check for cracked traces leading to the pin header as well.
If there is no visible physical damage, I would guess that the silence button is worn out and that it lost its function. I may have told you this before, but my MS-5024’s silence button is pretty worn out and it only works if I press the left or right side. The middle of the button is somewhat caved in and it doesn’t work if I press the middle.
Let me know what you find, then I’ll see what I can do from there.

Yeah it’s no use, I can’t find a solution to this. I might have to find a replacement board
Or you might be able to find a replacement keypad.
