I am still looking into silent knight addressable control panels and have a few questions before I purchase one.
- First, if the firmware on a particular 5000 series panel (say the 5820xl) is too old to support sk protocol devices, can it be upgraded to a newer version? If so, does anybody know here to find the files or how to upgrade it?
- Second, do the 5808 and 5820xl panels have known reliability issues and would I be better off with the 6000 series?
