Silent Knight SKE300 Question

All right, so Christmas is coming up, and I really want to get a voice evacuation panel since I have a lot of speaker/strobes sitting unused in my collection.

I found these really cheap voice evacuation panels on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silent-Knight-SKE300-lightly-used-/290729428628?pt=BI_Security_Fire_Protection&hash=item43b0d30694

I’d like to purchase one of these panels, but I have one question before I even consider. I found a product document on Google saying these need “unfiltered, full wave rectified” power from the main panel. I have a Simplex 4004, which puts out regular filtered DC. Is it still alright to use it with the 4004 without damaging it?

Otherwise, I’ll have to wait until I get a power supply and cabinet for my Pyrotronics System 3, which I believe puts out FWR.

Just so you know, the SKE300 is an amplifier and doesn’t have a built-in message player.

That’s what I was wondering about initially. Thanks for telling me! Darn, haha.

DId you sell the ANS-100?

Don’t even think about it…

Yes, I sold it.
