I am repairing a wrecked 2001 and the fuses and fuse holders are gone I was wondering what rate of fuses are needed for the panel thanks!
Are these the NAC fuses? If so then they are 2 amp fuses. If you take the card to radioshack with you I bet they might have a fuseholder that uses the same cover as the original.
Also good luck re-assembling the 2001… those panels are not easy to put together. How much do you know about them?
Unlike what a lot of people seem to think, you cannot put the cards anywhere you want on the motherboard!
On plug in modules, power supplies, and battery chargers the fuse value is usually silk screened on the face of the module. Fuses directly clipped on circuit boards may or may not have the value silk screened on the board. List the board part numbers where the values are not shown on the module or board and I probably can get that information.
Thanks! and I know a little because during a period of time when the school I help out at with the head of maintence a Freind of mine. Had no fire company because they were switching so john (head of maintence guy) had to figure out how to fix the panel not sounding the alarms. We figured out that the march time card blew and we removed it causing it to run on cont. so It’s a small fun project I don’t have high expectations but it will be fun. I tend to know more about older systems than newer ones like you newageserver I follow your channel and you know quite a bit! I just only know a lot about conventional systems. For some reason i only like old systems maybe it’s because I like mechanical horns lol
